Our Ombrellino Gift Shop is now open during the time between the 9:00 and 11:30 Masses!

Basilica parishioners Paul and Mary Ellen Heuton are managing the store. We are beginning the process of restocking it. Let us know if there is something you would like us to stock!

We sell Catholic books, Bibles, rosaries, medals, crucifixes, icons, statues, scapulars, holy cards, holy water fonts, bracelets, and other gift items. Plus, chapel veils, glasses, cups, photos, jackets and T-shirts that commemorate and help the Basilica. 

If you would like to purchase something while the Ombrellino is closed, please contact the parish office. We can open the store for you or make arrangements for you to purchase the item.

We are calling for more volunteers to keep the store open on shifts. 

Our abbreviated shift schedule is easy to fit with your choice of weekend Mass. You may choose to serve any of the following: 

• between the morning Masses (while your family is participating in RE, RCIA, choir, etc.), or
• the hour after the 11:30 Mass, or
• before & after the Saturday Vigil Mass
• weekdays around the 12pm Mass time

Serve once a month or as often as you like. Training is as easy as working alongside another volunteer for one shift.  Help us serve! 

Please complete the Diocese of Knoxville Safe Haven certification if you have not already done so. Volunteers must be certified under our diocesan Safe Environment policy.
