Holy Fire Event for Middle Schoolers

All middle school youth are invited to Holy Fire on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Holy Fire is a middle school event like no other that will challenge the youth to embrace their baptismal call and the powerful Gospel of Jesus through dynamic talks, peer witnesses, inspirational praise and worship, and rich experiences of the Eucharist through Adoration and Mass. 

The Diocese of Knoxville Youth Ministry Office is organizing complimentary transportation to this event in Nashville, TN.

Meet bus in front parking lot at 6:30 a.m., return between 10:30-11 p.m.
 

Meals

*For Meals: Please bring a packed breakfast to eat on bus on the way. For lunch, you will pay for that when you register for Holy Fire event. For dinner, we will stop on the way home for fast food, so everyone needs to bring an extra $10-15 for dinner.*

Registrations before Sept. 19 will have the option for lunch and T-shirt orders. However, it is still possible to register after Sept. 19.

More Information about Registration:

• When you register your children, enter the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul as the parish, and enter Donna Jones' name as the responsible adult. 
• Print and fill out the permission form that is located on the web page where you register (and also on this page above), and bring it with you to OLPH on Oct. 21.  
• The bus will leave from OLPH at 6:30am on Oct. 21.
• Donna Jones, who is the OLPH Youth Minister and Coordinator for the Chattanooga Deanery, will be collecting permission forms when you arrive at OLPH. She will be riding the bus to Nashville with the group. She is also planning to send a group email to everyone who has signed up, shortly before the event.
• There is a deadline for signing up for the lunch (TBA)
