As Christmas Eve falls on the 4th Sunday of Advent, Catholics are required to attend both a 4th Sunday of Advent Mass on Dec. 23 or 24, AND a Solemnity of Christmas Mass on Dec. 24 or 25. Our 4th Sunday of Advent Masses on Dec. 23 and 24 will be our regular weekend Mass schedule. Our Christmas Masses include: an English Vigil Mass at 5:30pm on Dec. 24 (prelude music at 5pm); Midnight Traditional Novus Ordo Mass in Latin & English at 12am on Dec. 25 (prelude music at 11:30pm Dec. 24). Erlanger’s Never Forgotten Program will be holding its annual service of remembrance in honor of all babies who died before, during, or after birth. This special evening is open to anyone in the community, whether their loss was recent or long ago. The service will take place at The Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul on Wed., Dec. 6, at 7:00 pm. Our Basilica St. Nicholas Dinner on Sunday, December 10, at 5pm, is an opportunity for parishioners of all ages to enjoy a catered dinner in Varallo Parish Hall. This year we will be honoring Fr. Carter for his 10 years at the Basilica so far. There will be games and crafts for the kids.
