November Drive for CHATT Foundation

The Basilica Outreach Committee is collecting items in November to meet the needs of individuals using the services of the CHATT Foundation, formerly known as the Chattanooga Community Kitchen. What began as a soup kitchen has become the largest homeless service provider in Hamilton County! Besides feeding the homeless, the Foundation provides clothing, showers, laundry services, emergency shelter beds, a family shelter at the Maclellan Shelter, and job skills training, among many other services.  

NOVEMBER NEEDS

​I​n November, we are collecting for the following needs:  

Fall and Winter clothing and accessories, socks, underwear, unused pillows, bed linens, blankets, handwarmers, pop-top cans, deodorant razors, towels/washcloths, laundry detergent, napkins/cups, and canned vegetables.  
No eggs or butter, please. Non-perishable foods only.

Donations may be dropped off in the Basilica vestibule at the designated location. 
Donations will be accepted through November 24.
