Luerena Fleming, 95, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, at her residence. Among others, Luerena is survived by her daughter Rita Fleming Lyttle and her daughter-in-law Daisy Fleming. Read Luerena's obituary below. Please pray for Luerena's soul and for her family.

Luerena's body will lie in state at Taylor Funeral home on Thurs. Sept. 22, 2022 from 9am to 1:30pm. Dcn. Gaspar DeGaetano will lead will be a Graveside Service at Chattanooga National Cemetery Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 at 2pm.
 

Obituary

Luerena Fleming, 95, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, at her residence. She attended Howard High School. Luerena was a member of Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; Henrietta Isbell and J.B. Smith; husband, C. J. Fleming; and son, Clarence Fleming. Survivors include her sons, Ricky Fleming and Wendell Fleming; daughters, Rita Fleming Lyttle and Paulette Fleming; daughter-in-law, Daisy Fleming; grandchildren, Reginald (Zuleikia) Fleming, Corey Fleming, Karliss Lyttle, Jr., Latisha (Shannon) Kyles, Christopher Daniel, and Wendi Fleming; great-grandchildren, Grant, Ryleigh, Joseph (Nikkole), and Justin; great-great-grandchildren, Lila Rose and Kohen; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Deacon Gaspar DeGaetano will be giving words of comfort.
