26th Annual Pilgrimage for Restoration - A Traditional Walking Pilgrimage - Friday to Sunday, September 24-26, 2021. The “Auriesville” Pilgrimage - Relocated to Eastern Pennsylvania to Our Lady of Guadalupe’s Shrine, Allentown, due to the continued lockdowns in New York State. Come to restore. The rest will come. David Lawrence Rack, a long-time Basilica parishioner who had moved to Alexian Village, died on August 13. David served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam war, then as an FBI agent, and an investigator at Unum. David also sang in the Choo Choo Chorus. The family is having a private funeral and burial, due to COVID-19. Our Jubilate Deo Youth Schola resumes this fall for students in grades 2-12 with unchanged voices. Learn to read and sing the sacred music of the Church! Classes will be on Fridays from 4:30-5:30pm, beginning Sept. 10 for new students and Oct. 1 for returning students.

Now that Fr. Patrick Ryan’s remains are entombed at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul, a minimum of $25,000 is needed to bring his cause to Rome, in addition to the expenses already incurred during the exhumation and entombment. Our Basilica parish supports the Ladies of Charity, who give direct financial assistance to the poor. Besides collecting monetary donations and gently used items, their Greater Goods Gift Store needs volunteers to sort and tag their many donations, assist customers in the store, or cashier.
