The Sacristan ministry is made up of people who prepare what is needed in the sanctuary and the sacristy altar before and after Mass.
- No previous experience is needed
- We will train you how to set up and take down for a Mass
- We rotate serving so you would serve about once a month (maybe less if we have more people sign up)
- This is such a great way to assist the priests and deacons
- You really learn a great deal about the Mass
Ordained clergy are the Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. The Extraordinary Ministry of Holy Communion (EMHC) ministry is made up of laypeople in the church who distribute Holy Communion during Mass alongside the clergy. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve at Novus Ordo Masses at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, only in the event there are not enough Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.
Candidates for the Extraordinary Ministry of Holy Communion and Sacristan ministries should receive proper training before they are commissioned for service in the parish.Bring Holy Communion to the homebound

Thanks to Nicholas Hickman, who helped us organized our many liturgical books for easy finding! Each book has a labeled spot, which makes it easy to see if a particular book is missing and needs to be returned.

Please help us maintain the arrangement pictured in this layout.
- The top shelf is for English Mass books.
- The second shelf down is for Spanish books.
- The third shelf down is for Latin language books and the Pastoral Care of the Sick in several languages.
- The bottom two shelves are for other ritual books in Spanish and English, including Baptism, Marriage, Funerals, and Blessings.
There is a separate shelving unit on the opposite wall that holds our liturgical binders, Baptism programs, and other printed resources.
