The St. Jude Youth Group has invited Sts. Peter and Paul youth grades 8 through 12* to join them
Sundays from 6:30 to 8pm

PARENTS: Meal donations are needed for upcoming meetings

Please join the upcoming monthly Downtown Youth Ministry events for 6th-12th graders (see above), and also consider: Religious Education, American Heritage Girls (at St. Stephen), Jubilate Deo Youth Schola - all wonderful opportunities to interact with your fellow Sts. Peter and Paul Youth!

Pro-Life Oratory & Art Contest
Congratulations to Basilica teen and DYM member, Olivia Turner, who won 1st place for her watercolor painting in the Knox County chapter of TN Right to Life Pro-Life Art contest. Olivia was just received into the Church with her family at the Easter Vigil.

Brother Kevin Doerge, from our Sts. Peter and Paul parish, has been a Postulant with the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius in Chicago since the summer of 2021. He made his first vows on August 14, 2023, and asks for everyone's prayers as he begins this next step on his journey towards the holy priesthood. 14-year-old Basilica parishioner, Lorelei Truett, daughter of Lance and Ashley Truett, passed away on Dec. 2, 2021, after a seven-month battle with leukemia that was diagnosed on April 27, 2021. Let us surround her family with our prayers. May Lorelei rest in peace. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Safe Environment

Youth must be accompanied by a PARENT or ADULT guardian at all times while on the Basilica campus. This includes every visit to the restroom, the nursery, the parking lot, the sidewalk, and even walking to class and leaving class. Read policy here.
Adult volunteers must be certified under the Diocese's Safe Haven program. -
